I discovered my love for photography during a visit to my aunt during my sophomore year of high school. She gifted me a dozen rolls of film for an old, inexpensive Instamatic camera and took me on an unforgettable adventure to the San Diego Zoo. Armed with that little camera and a sense of wonder, I explored the zoo, capturing the beauty and personality of the animals through the lens. It was an experience like no other, and it ignited a passion that would stay with me for the rest of my life.
